After developing their new European ‘gamification’ positioning, Skittles wanted a GWP game that’d give them standout at shelf – but which one and how to stop it from being a one-play wonder?
We partnered with Halfbrick Studios and turned their Fruit Ninja game into a Skittles fan's dream. Free and fun to play, it cleverly kept the brand front of mind for months. Supported by ads, social and a full shopper activation, not only did it make Skittles the best-selling confectionery during that period but it even got to No.1 on iTunes games.
