CORONA SUMMER: GWP + APP

Corona’s aluminium coolers were the perfect summertime giveaway. But with 60 purchases needed to make it a viable GWP, they needed a little help to make it work.

We created uConnect, a world-first collector web platform that used image recognition software to scan receipts. To get their free cooler, all consumers had to do after signing up was buy a pack, scan the barcode and their receipt and – hey presto – the points were added to their account. As well as leading the project, I also worked on the UX copy, on-pack promo and full shopper rollout.
